Pegasus Opera's Production: Falstaff
Falstaff
Summer 1997
Falstaff plots to capture the hearts of the wives of Ford and Page with the aid of Bardolph and pistol his drinking companions. Falstaff writes letters to the two women, who quickly realise that the letters are identical and plan their revenge.
This exciting and vibrant production by Christopher Cowell had minimal scenery, exotic use of colour and dramatic lighting to capture the distinct mood and feel of each of the six scenes in this three act production.
