POSA is growing!

September will see the launch of two new weekly POSA sessions:

POSA+ group (for people who love to sing aged 18+) will run Mondays 7.30 - 9pm during term time, starting 12th September

POSA workshops for young people aged 14-19 will run Saturdays from 12.30 - 2.30pm during term time starting 17th September

Tutors perform for POSA group

On Saturday 9th July the POSA pre-teen group (aged 8-13) were treated to performances by our tutor team with their bands, vocal groups and friends, experiencing everything from Micheal Jackson's thriller to Mozart's Marriage of Figaro. A great chance for the group to see what their talented tutors can do!

POSA record vocals for Basement Jaxx track!

This saturday saw the POSA under 13's group record the vocals with Basement Jaxx for the track they have created for the 7 Bridges project.  An amazing time was time had by all.  This was the groups first experience of being recorded for a professionally produced track.  Well done POSA under 13's!

New Website for Pegasus Opera

This month Pegasus celebrates the launch of its much anticipated new website designed by Donkey Studio. Our site has already won Site of the Day and received a mention in Designweek. We hope you enjoy the new site!

Olympic Heroes Childrens Opera

POSA (Pegasus Opera's education arm) celebrates the culmination of two bespoke education projects working with 12 schools across Lambeth.  The Windmill and Coldharbour clusters will be performing their Olympic themed mini opera projects with children aged 8-11 on 30 March and 6 April.

POSA end of term

April 9th was the final day of term for POSA under 13's.  Parents and young people participating in POSA performed material created during term 1.  Well done to our group for their first performance, great job!
